At the link for motorway M20, follow the signs for Maidstone. Keep on the M20 and bypass the town of Maidstone. After approximately 8 miles you will find the exit for Leeds Castle (junction 8). You will now have to look for "Lenham A20" and you will pass Leeds Castle on your left. Just pass the entrance for the castle, keep driving uphill and follow the signs for the towns of Headcorn and Tenterden for about 15 miles. Pass by Headcorn and after ½ mile you will find a V-junction. Take the left road on the way to Smarden and drive for about 3 miles until you reach a T-junction. Turn left and you will see the "Bell Pub" in front of you. Now turn into the first road on your right (Water Lane) heading to Smarden Continue for approximately ¾ mile and the first Tudor House on your right is Cloth Hall. For car rental - the average price is about GBP25-35 per day plus petrol (approx. 78p per litre) By Train : From Heathrow Airport, take the underground subway "tube" to Piccadily Circus (Use Piccadily Line - Navy Blue). From Piccadily Circus, change over to Bakerloo Line (Brown) for Charing Cross Station. Exit from the subway station and proceed to Charing Cross British Rail Station, which is only short distance away. Purchase tickets for Headcorn Station. The journey from Charing Cross to Headcorn is approximately 1 hour. At Charing Cross Station, do give your Cloth Hall hosts a ring (Tel: 01233 - 770347) to arrange for transfer from Headcorn station to the resort, which is approximately 10 minutes away. Pick up is complimentary from Headcorn train station upon arrival and departure. The resort also provides shuttle service from the airport to the resort.
